Terms of service

Effective August 16, 2026

These terms govern use of MowDeck, a billing platform for lawn care businesses operated by Favrs, LLC (“MowDeck”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using mowdeck.com you agree to them.

The service

MowDeck lets lawn care businesses create and send invoices, collect online payments, schedule recurring billing, and send billing notifications to their customers by email and text message. Payments are processed by Stripe through the business’s own Stripe account; funds flow directly to the business and never through MowDeck.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or create risk for us, other users, or message recipients.

Fees

MowDeck has no monthly fee. We charge a platform fee of 1% + 30¢ per paid invoice, collected automatically through Stripe when an invoice is paid, unless a different rate has been agreed in writing. Stripe’s own processing fees apply per their terms.

Customer data and consent

Businesses enter their customers’ contact details to bill them. By doing so the business represents that it has the customer’s consent to be contacted about billing at the numbers and addresses provided, including consent to receive text messages where a phone number is provided. Our privacy policy describes how this data is handled.

Text message program

MowDeck sends transactional billing text messages — invoice notices and payment reminders — on behalf of lawn care businesses to their customers who have consented to receive them. Message frequency varies with billing activity (typically a few messages per month). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel text messages at any time; reply HELP or email hello@mowdeck.com for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use

The service may be used only for lawful billing of real customers for real goods and services. Marketing blasts, harassment, and any use that violates law, carrier rules, or Stripe’s terms are prohibited.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Favrs, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for violation of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
